Project CARS decided to get into the spirit of the season today with their new trailer…

… no, not that one. That’s fully two months away. I mean Halloween.

The trailer uses gameplay footage set to atmospheric sounds and in a dull, wet setting that makes the cars racing about the track seem like wild animals or even demons (judging by how they make that one car’s rev sound terrifying). There’s no actual Halloween-related imagery in the trailer and it comes across as a little horror movie-esque in flavour. Interesting way to showcase a racing game, but it’s certainly original and you know what sort of a game you’ll be getting as it quite clearly shows racing and racing hard.
