[BLOG] Bethesda Possibly Announcing Two New Games At #E32017

E3 is going to be here before we know it, and already companies are ruling themselves in or out of press conferences. Bethesda's have been good for the last few years and they've just sent out their invites for this year's.

The invite itself looks like an advert for a 50s style theme park, which is awesome and very Bethesda in my mind. 'Bethesdaland' has a nice little map with all the 'locations' that can be 'visited' at E3, including area dedicated to games like Doom, Quake, The Elder Scrolls, Prey and Dishonoured - but interestingly two areas are marked as "under construction" which could be telling us that we've a pair of reveals to look forward to at this press conference on June 11th.

Unfortunately it's hard to tell just which game series could be getting a new entry by their lack (Fallout Boy's at the centre of the park so that sort of rules out speculation it's Fallout-themed because of the lack of a Fallout section on the map) or indeed if either could be something entirely new we don't know about yet. Bethesda are very good at keeping us guessing after all. The popular theory around though are that they could be The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein: The New Colossus. Maybe.

There's evidence for both, as Machine Games who developed Wolfenstein: The New Order are currently at work on something that Bethesda's marketing executive Peter Hines once described as "fucking bananas", and the subtitle 'New Colossus' has appeared next to previous Wolfenstein games at last year's Bethesda press conference. As for The Evil Within 2, a job listing for a tester for Psycho Break 2 - the Japanese name for The Evil Within - appeared on NeoGAF back in March. It's not much, but it's certainly something to go on.

We won't know though until the press conference, so keep your eyes on the news on the day. It could be amazing.
Yes that's Minecraft-me in my av. Done by Reiu who is damn talented!
