On the stage at E3, a new game play video for the Assassin's Creed Unity game was shown off as part of the Xbox presentation today. In it was shown off the setting of France during the Revolution, just as the working classes hungered for the lives of the nobility and demonstrated the co-op function of the game which was revealed yesterday in a banner at the event.

In it the player used the skills the Assassin's Creed franchise is known for to get inside a palace with three other players, quickly and silently making their way through to a ball where the target noble and main target was quickly and swiftly dispatched. The screen was mostly set on one player but changed towards the end to show a four-way split-screen view that hankered back to old days of local multiplayer gaming.

Assassin's Creed is an open-world stealth and attack game due to come out on the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC later on this year.
