Age of Conan Now Free-to-Play
Crom laughs at your subcription cost. He laughs from his mountain.

Age of Conan, Funcom's dark fantasy MMO based on the fiction of Robert E. Howard, today went free-to-play. The switch to the free-to-play model was announced in May this year.
Under the new model, players can explore the world of Hyborea with no up-front purchase price, and no subscription is required to maintain access. Like other games that have switched to a free-to-play model, there is an optional Premium subscription which gives players access to many more extra areas than free players don't normally have access to.
Players who still want access to extra areas but want to forgo the subscription can buy them specifically from the cash-shop using Funcom points.
If you've never tried it, Age of Conan is one of the prettiest MMOs on the market, and has a very interesting combat system. The last expansion was actually pretty good. It also has boobs, so there's that too, I guess.
