Deep in the bowels of the city of Charlotte, North Carolina lurks a band known as Pain After Death. Pain After Death was formed one summer by members of Divine Heresy, Nile and Scapegoat. Initially it was intended to be a side project but the band soon realized the true potential of the music. Blending together many influences including, Metal, Death, Hardcore and Rock, also occasionally throwing in a little southern twang and hollering or even a jazz break the band has an eclectic yet brutal sound that is topped with a vocal attack of guttural lows, shrieking highs, consistent meaty mids and *gasps* the occasional clean vocal. The intensity of the live show is unparalleled and they have recently got to display this intensity, sharing the stage with Fear Factory, KillWhitneyDead, Prong, Silent Civilian, The Demonstration, Vanisher, Thy Will Be Done and Zeus to name a few. Pain After Death is currently seeking a REAL label and will tour relentlessly no matter what.
