The second of Battlefield Hardline’s betas is due to start next week, Tuesday February 3rd, and will last through until Sunday February 8th. This was confirmed in an EA press release and access will be through the Origin client.
This next beta will contain the new game mode Hotwire, which sees each team taking control of marked cars and then take down the other team’s cars. High-speed chase destruction is the name of the game and it’s playable on two maps in the beta, Downtown and Dust Bowl.

The other mode is Heist and that’s playable on the Bank Job map. One team are the Criminals and are trying to break into a vault and steal money, while the other team plays the Police who have to stop them. Simple.
There’s also going to be fully unlocked multiplayer progression available, letting you upgrade as high as you can provided you have the time to put into play.
Battlefield Hardline will release in North America on March 17th and 3 days later in the UK.

Blizzard have handed down another nerf smackdown to a card in the Hearthstone game, finally making it a little less of a pain to go up against. The card in the firing line this time? Undertaker.
Previously the Undertaker’s card text read “Whenever you summon a minion with Deathrattle gain +1/+1” which in special Deathrattle decks could lead to an Undertaker getting buffed to hell in one turn. Blizzard have now revised it to merely “Whenever you summon a minion with Deathrattle, gain +1 Attack”. This means while it will still be a powerful card if played right, its less of a fully-armed fortress and more of a glass cannon now.

Blizzard’s community manager Zeriyah explained the need to make the change saying “Undertaker was frustrating to play against. It often gained both Attack and Health stats significantly above those of other inexpensive minions very early in the game. With this change, we expect Undertaker will still be better than other 1-Mana minions when played in a deck with a Deathrattle theme, but more likely to die in combat against other minions.”
The Undertaker’s been a bit of an issue for a few months, having been released in the Naxxramas event and some of the cards included in December’s expansion, Goblins vs. Gnomes were noticeably set up to counter Deathrattles in an attempt to solve the problem. Seems it wasn’t enough though so the Undertaker’s health buff had to go.

Now you can get drunk with you favorite Dwarf and sing along with the songs you heard in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Bioware created a place on its website where you can download the tavern songs for free.
The songs include “I Am The One,” “Grey Warden,” and “Empress of Fire” among others, and you have until February 9th to download the MP3s.

Recently Techland announced that while the digital release date for their open-world zombie game with parkour was going to be kept, there was going to be a little schedule slippage regarding the shipping of physical boxed copies of the game for all regions outside of North America.
Fortunately they’ve now given a date to expect those regions to be receiving those copies and thrown in a bonus as a result of the fans sticking with them and giving them support. The multiplayer mode “Be the Zombie”, which was previous a preorder-only bonus is now going to be free to everyone. Nice.
In a statement the studio said: “Although the changes affect only the release of boxed copies in certain territories, we want to show all of you our appreciation for your continued support. Thus, we’re really happy to announce that ‘Be the Zombie’ will be available for free to everyone, on all platforms, in all territories.”

As well as this preorders of the physical game will also include the Cuisine & Cargo and Ultimate Survivor Bundle DLC packs at no charge. They can also be registered at dockets.dyinglightgame.com for “dockets” that can then be exchanged for in-game weaponry.
The release date for the physical copies outside of the NA region is February 27th. If you’re going digital though, the release date is still January 27th.

After the release of the first episode of the Game of Thrones game series, Telltale are due to release the second episode in a few weeks time. They’ve even released the first look trailer.
The second episode is called The Lost Lords and will move the action to Essos as we continue to follow the family that the games concern themselves with – the House Forrester. It seems there might be a chance for a little more action compared to the first episode, Fire From Ice, which started off with a fight but didn’t have too much more.
The Game of Thrones series is the first time Telltale have set one of their game series within an already established narrative since they developed the episodic game story model that they’ve become well known for over the last few years. I’m hoping that they pull it off well, as if they can it bodes a little better for the upcoming Minecraft game that they’ve been confirmed to have in the works.
The Lost Lords will release on February 3rd.
