Developer Linsey Murdock gives players a preview of the upcoming crafting additions!
To clarify something Linsey discussed in the livestream: The quality of the salvage kit used has no effect on the chance to find ‘Essence of luck’ or on the quality of the ‘Essence of Luck’ found.
If a recent forum post is true, Microsoft may be working on introducing a digital marketplace that lets you resell your used games to other Xbox One owners.
Although unconfirmed, the NeoGaf post outlines a supposedly leaked survey that suggests Microsoft is introducing a virtual place where Xbox One used games can be bought and sold at various prices, depending on included features; in essence, a virtual used game store where players sell to and buy from other players
The survey also mentions the use of premium services, such as an Xbox Live Gold subscription (Or PlayStation Plus, if Sony introduces the rumoured virtual marketplace). This seems to suggest that only members paying for these services will have access to the digital store.
We’re waiting for Microsoft to comment, but the rumour is still unconfirmed.
Guild Wars 2 has been released for exactly one year. The ArenaNet team has sent out a terrific infographic to give some of the more interesting statistical data from the past year as well as posted a new blog that details some of the amazing content additions of the past twelve months.
Those of you who have been with us from the beginning will recall that our first goal with Guild Wars 2 was to make a truly dynamic world where the actions of players change the world around them. We had railed against traditional MMO mechanics like quest chains that force the world to be static and unchanging, and instead had built a world full of dynamic events where players working together can actually change the state of the world. We knew we wanted to use live updates to make the world even more dynamic. And we knew that in order to really succeed at that, we’d have to be able to ship new content into the world at an unprecedented scale.
