After all the trouble No Man’s Sky has gone through, it’s nice to know that some people are getting to finally play the massive game of planets and space. And as generally happens, someone’s already posted the intro although Hello Games did manage to get it down quickly.
The guy who was responsible for the taken down video posted more than one though, with his first video being his popping open a bottle as the game installed on his Playstation 4 in the background. He then proceeded to upload two more videos, one of the game’s opening moments and then one of his exploration of the initial planet and it these last two that Hello Games have gotten taken down. Fortunately not quickly enough to stop people seeing though.
Those who did see the videos say the game starts with a scene of a thousand stars zipping by before the camera zooms down to the starting planet and throws you straight into the game. There doesn’t seem to be any sign of a tutorial so you’re obviously meant to figure it out for yourself, although your spacecraft is nearby and its state makes it clear that getting it fixed is a first priority for you.
Obviously when the game actually releases we’ll get some videos that are allowed to stay up, but it’s exciting to get a little unofficial sneak peek at the game so many have been waiting for. Let’s hope it’s worth it.
It’s been a little while since the Old Gods graced the game of Hearthstone with their presence, and so in the pattern of new Hearthstone content releases, it’s about time for a new adventure which Blizzard have announced they intend to provide.
The next adventure is entitled “One Night in Karazhan” and was announced with one hell of a colourful trailer which is quite… musical as well. Just watch it, it’ll do a much better job of explaining the tone that I ever could in written word:
The prologue mission will apparently be free to play for all, and everyone who tries it will gain copies of two new cards – Enchanted Raven (a 1-cost 2/2 Beast Minion) and Firelands Portal (a 7-cost spell that does 5 damage and summons a 5-Cost Minion).
Of course, paying out for the rest of the adventure will mean more cards with the blog announcement saying that 43 new cards can be gained through the adventure expansion.
The original Darksiders was a pretty interesting game. Casting you in the shoes of War, literally one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, you had to find out what had happened to humanity. There was a lot of hitting things with a big sword, a lot of platforming and some pretty cool boss fights.
Now, Darksiders is getting a remaster…excuse me warmaster. Even though that isn’t a word, the game is getting rendering improvements, doubled texture resolutions and better shadow quality. It’ll support 1080p and 60fps on Ps4, Xbox One and PC. If you own a Wii U, it will be at 30 fps, so begin raging in the comments below. Oh, and this remaster (I’m not saying warmaster agai…damnit) of the 2010 original will be available on October 25th. So get ready to get out your giant sword and *sigh* step into the shoes of War.
The Nintendo NX has been in development for quite some time, with all kinds of rumors swirling about. Today however, our friends over at Eurogamer put out some interesting information in regards to the system. With so many leaked yet unconfirmed details, Lone and Digm had to take to the internet and make a video speculating wildly and giving their thoughts!
