GTA V is a few years old by this point, but Rockstar are still putting out free updates for it. The latest one was the second part of the GTA Ill-Gotten Gains update, which added a bunch of new cars, boats, clothes and other expensive, luxury items to buy. The problem is that it also came with a noticeable framerate problem.
Players have noticed that lower frame rates had become more regular since the update last week, and Rockstar have already said that they’re “looking into” the causes on a support page. Users on the /r/Games Reddit have been speculating that the new anti-modding and hacking measures for GTA Online could be the cause, but issues have effected all players regardless of whether they play the game straight or flavoured with a mod or two.
Rockstar should have a patch out soon once the root cause has been nailed down.

In a move that really shouldn’t surprise anyone who is familiar with the Five Nights at Freddy’s series by now, creator Scott Cawthon has confirmed that he is going to be releasing the forth game; the so-called “Final Chapter” earlier than the teasers have been suggesting.
A number of Youtubers including Razzbowski and Dawko have been showing off e-mails that seem to be from Scott Cawthon’s personal e-mail account confirming the fact. In a video to announce the release date change Dawko says that Cawthon has been talking to them about whether to do any early release or not eventually deciding to release the forth game on August 8th to celebrate the one year anniversary of the original FNAF 1 game. He also says that the game’s trailer will also be finished some time next week.

Cawthon has a habit of releasing the FNAF sequels early, having first done it with the second game releasing the full version shortly after sending out the demo version for lets play videos to the surprise of all. This time around the players have some pre-warning about the date change but Scott has said that he will be releasing some extra content on the original release date of Halloween just to honor it.
Teasers have been plentiful for the forth game, starting with an image of a spotlight illuminating the top hat of the titular character that popped up on the scottgames.com site and seemed to signal that FNAF3 was the end of the line. When the hat vanished a few months later people began to wonder if it was the end only for a few days later to find a new teaser image of a ‘nightmare’ version of the Freddy Fazbear animatronic character.

Free-to-play MMO RaiderZ will be shutting down for good next month, after the game’s developers MAIET have ceased trading. The game will close down when the developer company is finally dissolved.
The game has been suffering server issues recently and it was because of this that the publisher of the game, Perfect World, discovered the situation.
“Over the past weeks, RaiderZ has seen a few different instances where the game has had issues with the server. In the past, we have been working with MAIET, the developer of RaiderZ, in order to troubleshoot and solve issues to keep the game available for the players. Unfortunately, MAIET is no longer operating anymore.”

Players who have made any purchases involving RaiderZ since May 7th will be refunded their money to their Arc Account Balance and the in-game prices have also been slashed for the time the game has left, with players who logged in during the last month also being given 1000 in-game currency to have some fun with before the servers go offline on August 7th, 10am PDT.
While the reason for MAIET’s folding is not known, looks at reviews for the game on Steam are mixed, with a good number of the negative ones complaining about constant crashes and also quite a few mentioning that the game contained a trojan or other malicious software that attempts to get players to deactivate their anti-virus software; a claim that is denied by others.

Oculus VR have confirmed that they’re working on around two dozen games for their own Oculus Rift device, with CEO Brendan Iribe saying that these games are being fully funded by their own studios – Oculus Studios.
The games are part of a program where developers pitch their ideas to Oculus and in return for platform exclusivity the games get full funding to be made. Other VR developers are also welcome to take part in the program to pitch ideas. Oculus have also made smaller investments in VR games that are not exclusive to the Rift, which total around $10 million altogether.
Oculus seem to be the first of the ‘big VR studios’ to be looking at exclusivity deals, and the question now on our lips has to be will other like Sony’s Morpheus or the Valve HTC Vive do the same as they get closer to release?
