Police Arrest Suspected Sony Hacker

Police in London have arrested a 19-year-old suspect being linked to the recent cyber attacks against Sony, according to a report on CNN (http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/europe/06 ... ?hpt=hp_t2).

Police said the man is suspected of "hacking into systems and mounting denial of service attacks against a number of international businesses and intelligence agencies," the report says. His computers will be searched for evidence of hacks against Sony, the CIA, and other websites, and possible links to the hacker group LulzSec.

It's unclear as of now if this suspect took part in the hacking against Sony's PlayStation Network. When asked for clarification, a SCEA representative told IGN the company has no comment.

A number of gaming websites and services have been attacked over the past month, including Bethesda, Epic Games, Nintendo, SEGA, Eve Online, Minecraft, and Codemasters.

Three suspects believed to be tied to hacker group Anonymous were arrested two weeks ago in Spain.
