In an announcement that few saw coming, news of a sequel to cult favourite game Psychonauts has been announced a short time ago at the Game Awards which are currently ongoing.
Of course, there's been rumours of a sequel to this game emerging before from different corners of the media and the Internet. What gives this announcement some legitimacy though is that Tim Schafer appeared to confirm that this time it's true. Of course, we're unsure about what will be involved in this game or what its plot will be, but hopefully it'll contain the core of what made the first Psychonauts appealing. No word on platforms either yet.
My fellow gamers, put some fuel into that hype train, it's time to get it rolling.
