Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team Announced

THQ today announced Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team, a third-person arcade title for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The game is due out in July and will cost 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99.

Players can choose between four character classes, two ranged - the Sternguard Veteran and Techmarine, and two melee - the Vanguard Veteran and Librarian. It features same-screen cooperative play, weapon upgrades, and six chapters to play through.

Completing the first chapter in Kill Team unlocks the Power Sword weapon for multiplayer in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, due out in August for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
