Eurogamer has revealed that the Exterminus DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine will be released on Tuesday, 25th October.

The free content will be released on all platforms - Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC - at the same time.

The add-on opens up four-player online co-op. Choose from three classes - Tactical, Devastator or Assault - to take down the Orks and the Forces of Chaos.

There will be two scenarios to choose from: Escape from Kalkys Facility and Assault on Hab Center Andreas.

If that's not enough, expect more content to be released in the future. "There are some plans [for more]," said producer Andy Lang. "We're working on some other DLC."
