The people at Comcept have released a new gameplay video for their crowdfunded game Mighty No. 9, which shows off some of what we're to expect from it.
Although recently another crowdfunder has gone up for the game to receive english voiceacting as well as the Japanese original, fans of the Megaman franchise will probably be interested in the game. Like those games the hero Beck can defeat and absorb powers of his enemies, and the video demonstrates a few of the transformations. It also gives us a look at Call, the other playable hero who wears pink armour and is equipped with a jetpack.

Do I see a scoring system? Awesome, we haven't had a scoring system in a Mega Man-style game since the original; it was a nice arcade touch which adds a bit of a competitive element too. Looks like Mighty No. 9's system is based on Combos as well, which is even better.
Good to see Mighty No.9 is implementing the quick-transforming as seen on Mega Man 9 and 10 (where one button cycles through powers without opening the menu; and another does the same in reverse). Mighty's implementation looks a LOT nicer though; and I like that Beck doesn't actually transform until the new power is selected.
