As gamers we always wonder about game releases. When is a game coming out? Is it going to be delayed? Is it worth pre-ordering or getting the special edition, or should I wait until it's on its first sale? Is this game coming to any platform I own? We hope to hear news of any sort of confirmation, especially if it comes from an official source. So it's always satisfying when we get that news, and when it's a leak made by accident it somehow makes it better.
Earlier Konami accidentally posted confirmation that the latest Metal Gear Solid game will have a PC port on Steam. Before the Konami presentation at Gamescom. Oops. The link didn't go anywhere, taking anyone clicking to it to an error page. It was also quickly pulled down but not before some people got screenshots like the one above. Hideo Kojima has since confirmed that the leaked confirmation was for real.
Good news for those Metal Gear fans who prefer to do their gaming on custom build PCs.
