Those of you who enjoy gaming but find yourself limited by either your choice of operating system or possibly due to your mistrust of certain game manager programs like Steam or Desura, rejoice! The latest Humble Bundle is out and all the games included are browser-based and it’s called the Humble Mozilla Bundle.
All you need is either Firefox or Chrome and you’ll have access to all the games purchased. Pay what you want to get Super Hexagon (the music in that game is amazing and it seems strangely addictive), AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome, Osmos, Zen Bound 2 and Dustforce DX. If you pay more than $4.83 you’ll also get Voxatron, FTL and a mystery game and if you pay more than $8 you’ll also get Democracy 3 thrown in there too. Not bad at all.
All the games are available to try by clicking ‘Play’ below their icons on the Humble Bundle site before you buy them. They’re preview versions obviously, but it’s nice to get a taste to know what you’re buying. The money can be split between the game devs, Humble and the charities; The Mozilla Foundation, The Maker Education Initiative and CodeNow.
The bundle will be available for a fortnight from the Humble site here: [x]
